A while back, I put together some additional supreme magic research pursuits, in the interest of having options for every magic type just as Death magic has Necromancy and Transmogrification has Crossbreeding. Some of those worked better than others; Foretelling has proven tricky in particular, and my thoughts on illusions have evolved quite a bit. Both were fairly ambitious compared to the default options available. But the rules for Ritual Summoning worked quite well, and proved worth updating to ACKS II. They’re a good tool for players, but I’ve also enjoyed having them as a Judge, to justify the presence of incarnations in dungeons bound as guardians or advisors.

I am still muddling through drow domains; I have a working model now, but it’s not as rigorous as I’d like so it’s still going through some revision, and I’ve been quite busy. So in the meanwhile, enjoy! I’ve found these very fun.
